Barroso in Tirana: Delivered the agreement for Albania's participation in the program "Creative Europe".
Jose Manuel Barroso delivers premier Rama agreement for the participation of Albania in the "Creative Europe", signed a few days ago by the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth Androulla Vassiliou and Albanian Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbaro. Thanks to this agreement, the Albanian organizations will have the opportunity to apply for funding for multi-year projects of cooperation, for translations of books, building cultural networks or creating multi-cultural platforms.
European Commission President Barroso today gave Prime Minister Rama, the Agreement between the Republic of Albania and the European Union to Albania's participation in the EU program "Creative Europe", which aims to promote and support the culture and art.
Regarding the program "Creative Europe", Barroso said that art and culture can be important for Albania's path towards the EU and Albania recognition and art in European countries.
"Today I had the opportunity to give the prime minister and minister of culture a document called" Creative Europe "which is an agreement between Albania and the EU, which by Albanian artists and institutions will be able to apply for funds Albania without being an EU member. We will have the opportunity to know and see Albanian artists, but also you will be able to see European art in Albania, "said Barroso.
